Asher Fisch named to opera post

"Seattle Opera has named Asher Fisch, an Israeli conductor who has appeared with the company since 2003, as principal guest conductor."

Well, this is a familiar name. We have fond memories of the warm collegiality between Maestro Fisch and Andrea when he sang at Avery Fisher Hall last year. Here is a link to the complete story for those interested.
