Dal 18/04 i biglietti per il Concerto con Bocelli a Catania

Saranno posti in vendita da mercoledi prossimo, 18 aprile 2007, i biglietti per i due concerti straordinari con la partecipazione del tenore Andrea Bocelli che si terranno al Teatro Massimi “Bellini" di Catania venerdi 4 maggio alle ore 21 e sabato 5 maggio alle ore 17,30.
In programma la Petite Messe Solemnelle di Gioachino Rossini che sarà diretta da Marcello Rota. Altri interpreti: Myrtò Papatanasiu (soprano) Anna Bonitatibus (mezzosoprano), Andrea Concetti (basso).

I keep checking the site, but the only thing you can buy is tickets to "Andrea Chenier for 28th April.
I shan't believe I have one for the Petite Messe until I see and hear him sing that Domine Deus !!

Well, I am very happy as I have just bought 2 tickets for the Friday night !
I am taking my daughter, so I thought I would have box seats, I think they make it more of an occasion for someone going for the first time.
There were only 234 seats on offer, mainly boxes.....wonder if the rest have already been sold .

You are really lucky, Carolina!
I have tried to get a flight for May 05 today, but no chance, it`s too late. The only one I could have will arrive at 18:00 - the concert will start at 17:30! This time I thought it was too risky to book in advance without having a ticket.
I hope it will be a great experience for you and your daughter, have a good trip!

What a pity Anne, can you not fly to Palermo and drive across the island ?
That is what we are doing. Many more flights go into Palermo than Catania, and it is cheaper to do that and rent a car.

I thought about it but I have only the weekend, can`t get free on Friday or Monday, and therefor the distance between Palermo and Catania is too much. I know Sicily a little, you should not underestimate the distance, it`s across the whole island! If you take the coastroute, you have much more kilometers, if you go direct, you have to go through the mountains.
So I think it would not be enough time for me to do that...

Anne, we are flying into Palermo on Friday 27th, staying there the night, and then the next day we will drive to Catania, so we have all day to do it, and then we have nearly a week to find the Teatro !!
Maybe you should buy a ticket for the Euromillions tonight, then if you win you can fly in a private jet...

La celebre Petite Messe Solennelle di Gioachino Rossini il 4 e 5 maggio prossimi tornerà al Teatro Massimo Bellini dopo sette anni di assenza e riporterà a Catania un tenore che ha milioni di fans sparsi per tutto il mondo: Andrea Bocelli.
L’artista, come noto, avrebbe dovuto prendere parte alla produzione dell’opera Andrea Chénier, che ha debuttato con grande successo due giorni fa per la Stagione Lirica 2007 del “Bellini, ma ha dovuto rinunciare “per ragioni varie, tra le quali problemi di carattere familiare”, come ha spiegato lui stesso questa mattina, in un video-messaggio registrato nei giorni scorsi nella sua abitazione di Forte dei Marmi e proiettato nel foyer del “Bellini” nel corso di una conferenza stampa….
Poi si è tornati a parlare di Bocelli e del concerto del mese prossimo: “Un concerto che Bocelli ha voluto fortemente –ha detto il commissario Gelardi- visto che era saltata la sua partecipazione ad Andrea Chénier e che prelude ad ulteriori impegni che vedranno protagonista il tenore e il nostro teatro, con una produzione d’opera, probabilmente il Faust di Gounod, che dovrebbe anche andare in tournée in Giappone”….
C’’è tanta attesa tra il pubblico per i due concerti straordinari; e infatti sono numerose le richieste di biglietti arrivate anche da altre parti d’Italia e dall’estero. In tanti hanno espresso il desiderio di poter ascoltare Andrea Bocelli, un artista che evidentemente è molto amato dal pubblico, come peraltro testimoniano i 52 milioni di dischi venduti nella sua carriera, la maggior parte dei quali con incisioni di concerti e opere liriche. “Sono felice di tornare al ‘Bellini’ -ha detto peraltro Bocelli nel suo video messaggio- perché in questo teatro ho meravigliosi ricordi”.
Sia per le prove sia per il concerto, sarà presente in teatro una troupe tv inglese che sta realizzando un documentario sulla vita e l’attività artistica di Andrea Bocelli destinato ai circuiti televisivi internazionali.
Dopo il periodo di prelazione dedicato agli abbonati del Teatro e ormai scaduto, i biglietti per i due concerti del 4 e 5 maggio sono già dallo scorso 18 aprile disponibili nel botteghino del Teatro, in piazza Vincenzo Bellini, aperto tutti i giorni feriali dalle 9,30 alle 12,30 e, dal martedì al venerdi, anche al pomeriggio dalle 17 alle 19. Impecable la nota grafica desde Catania, majestuoso el teatro Massimo Bellini, muy completo el relato. En el nos reencontramos con ANDREA y lo que ya sabemos, un gran artista en el mundo amado por miles de personas. LLegas siempre con algo bello e interesante FRANCESCA, ¡suerte que has vuelto despues de unos dias!. Tu participacion es activa y se nota de inmediato tu ausencia. Te saludo.

Please have i read correctly in Francesca's account, is it true they are filming a documentary about Andrea for international screening on TELEVISION? i HOPE this is true and that we ENGLISH will see it, and soon too; I feel , as an English fan, there has not been enough promotion of Andrea over here; if there has been any, i have managed to miss it; I can honestly say that when the album 'CIELI' came out , i saw it advertised maybe 3 or 4 times on t.v; that was THE ONLY WAY I BECAME AWARE OF IT; and what i heard made an impact on me; i bought it because of that and was awe-struck at the beauty of his voice; next when 'ANDREA' came out ,i saw an advert a couple of times and again loved what i heard and bought immediately; playing these was like discovering Paradise lost, like being transported to Heaven; but after the c ouple of t.v adverts i saw nothing more; to me there has not been enough promotion of Andrea over here; I was just lucky to catch those adverts; after that i discovered SOGNO and ROMANZA; I caught the advert on t.v for AMORE or i wouldnt have known of its release either; naturally i bought it immediately, and since then discovered this site and have been buying all his d.v.ds and albums i can; i have SACRED ARIAS album and d.v.d, Verdi, ARIA, VIAGGIO, CAVALLERIA AND LA BOHEME, TOSCA, PAGLIACCI; needless to say I will be so happy if a documentary is being televised.HOPE I HEAR ABOU IT IN ADVANCE ON HERE.

Si l'information est juste.......il y aura en effet un documentaire destiné au circuit international.
Malheureusement je crains fort que nous ne le voyions pas ici en France si c'est une production anglaise. Ce que nous avons pu déjà voir était des productions italiennes, en dehors de ce qui avait été filmé par des équipes françaises.
A moins qu'il y ait aussi un dvd ?
