Andrea on BBC Radio 2

Andrea is listed on the schedule as doing " Friday night is music night", on BBC radio on 14th Nvermber. Well, that day is a Wednesday, so I thought I would check it out and came up with this:

Recorded recently at the Mermaid Theatre in London, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli joins The BBC Concert Orchestra for an evening of his favourite songs and arias. The Orchestra is conducted by Carlo Bernini and Robin Stapleton, and the programme is hosted by Ken Bruce.

Is this a new concert, or a repeat of one he did in 2004, anybody any idea ?
The one he did in 2004 was also at The Mermaid, but they had a guest audience there. A friend won tickets to that, so I am surprised we have not heard anything about this one, if it is a new concert.

Judy, to access the restricted area you have to register first. Click on the following link:

and on the upper right corner click on 'Join for FREE'. Once you have filled all the information, they will send you an email with a link to activate your membership.

Then, once you do that, type the link mentioned above (don't pay attention to the page you will be getting when you click on the long link provided by them). Sign-in and at the bottom of the page click on 'Andrea Bocelli' and the page you were looking for will appear. Sorry to tell you that the contest is over (October 30). But, there are nice articles about Andrea.

To celebrate this fantastic new album, Andrea will be recording a special one off performance with the BBC Concert Orchestra in London
(to be confirmed) on 14th November which will go out on BBC Radio 2 on Friday 23rd November at 7.30pm.
