So good that you are


It’s an occurrence of my being
And then the pleasure within me
Is stronger than me, than my bones,
Which you gnash in one embrace
Always agonizing, always wonderful.

Let’s chat, let’s talk, let’s say words
Long, vitreous, like chisel gabs separating
The cold river from its hot delta,
The day from night, the basalt from basalt.

Carry me up, joy and crush
My temple against the stars, till
My elongated and never-ending world
Raises to a column or something else,
Far more elevated and far more sooner.

So good that you are, such a wonder that I am!
Two different songs, hitting, intertwining,
Two colours that have never seen each other,
One from far below, facing dust,
The other one from far above, almost broken
In its cold, unique struggle
for the miracle that you are, of the incidence that I am.
