If we did not think…
never strived to know…
simply ate, drank, loved and died,
like animals that don’t ask why,
life would be easy,
straight and dull,
a road without bends,
no mountains to climb,
no depths to fall,
be born then perish…
without dreams, or purpose,
no idea where to go…
wouldn’t life be peaceful?
but…
because we’re humans,
we know…
