Andrea Bocelli Toolbar : Search

Postby DueBaci on Sat 30 Dec, 2006 12:08 am

On the Andrea Bocelli Toolbar... there was a wonderful *search* function that used to be Mr. Google. I could just type anything in the blank area next to the Andrea Bocelli.com button... hit search .. and Mr. Google would be giving me more answers than I could have ever imagined.

... now when I hit search ... there is no GOOGLE logo. just a space with the words "powered by Google* next to it. The link now becomes

http://search.conduit.com/?ctid=CT339090

search conduit.com ?

hey ! What'd ya do with Mr. Google !

did anyone else notice this ?

It is the same Google. I have Google plus the Bocelli toolbar and when I search I can type my question on any of them and I get the same results. I don't think there is any magic on this... :)

WSNY ... I'm trying to figure out if it's just my computer ... or if it's across the board... try this please.... In the Andrea Bocelli Toolbar... The Toolbar Seach ... don't type anything in the search box... and hit the *search* button.

is what you see on the next screen the real Google ?

with the Google logo etc ?

I clicked on 'Search" and got a blank page Powered by Google with the link to 'Conduit' and when clicked on it, I get the Conduit page and among other things, the invitation to create my 'Community Toolbar'. Now, if after clicking on 'Search' (without typing anything on the box) I get the blank page, I can type the subject I am looking for and that's it. Why going around when I can directly type the subject on the Andrea Bocelli.com toolbar box and hit Search...? When I do this, automatically the same appears in the box of my Google toolbar. In fact, I have more than 2 toolbars...

Poor Em is desperately trying to log in here but is having problems. Could any technically minded reader give her some advice please?

I don't know what to suggest .... except maybe emailing Ballanti at

info@andreabocelli.org

or Renate renate@andreabocelli.org

they're the webmaster/moderators... and have the power to help her most I think

Or maybe she could just rejoin with a slightly different name?

Yes, Em... Try changing everything: name, password, the lot...

And good luck! Hope to have you back with us soon. (Trust we'll recognise you...?)

Indeed.

I happen to have met one of the nasty man's direct descendants. Boo! Hiss! (Although, actually, she is very pleasant...and as beautiful as Bosey.)
