I'm guessing this is a first for Andrea? I don't believe I recall him ever going to perform in Iceland before. I wonder if we will get any reports/pictures from anybody. Hope so! :)

I have always wanted to visit Iceland. This could be a good reason to do it now. Problem is that it is usually very expensive and difficult to get to.
Still might be worth investigating.

Oo I can see him now - in his big long coat buttoned up to the neck and his scarf blowing in the wind - hope he doesn't get too cold! I don't think we'll be able to make that concert, much as I would love to. Saving for Tuscany next year!

That was for one, with Icelandair.
Did you put in the October date ?

It is quite tempting though, isn't it, but top ticket price is £179 and you wouldn't want less than a top ticket, now, would you....
Mmmmmm...early Christmas present ?

Yes, I put in 29/10 (no flights 30th or 31st) - 1/11, well, you'd want a few days there anyway wouldnt you? Top ticket would be a must!!! I think an early Christmas & birthday present..... I've just come back from Lajatico..its happening again....Andrea withdrawal symptoms!!

Francesca, from JFK to Reykjavik (R/T direct flight) is USD884.00... still not tempted. Will wait until he comes to NYC. In the meantime I may 'cheat' on Andrea with Daniel Auteuil... He is not a singer but a fantastic actor and I love his big nose and everything else... I think I am in love with him. If Andrea doesn't come to the USA (or at least there is not a schedule soon), I will go to the Cinema Festival in Rome to see Daniel with Monica Bellucci in "Le Deuxième Souffle". I hope they win an award... In the meantime, I am catching up with all of his movies...:)

Alors, penses-tu a Vienna??

Yes, I have the video of "La folie des hommes" ("Vajont") that I recorded from RAI International, not only once but twice, just in case. The song "Proteggimi" sounds beautiful in Andrea's voice! I also have the soundtrack CD but 'Proteggimi' wasn't included.

The "Dialogues avec mon jardinier" movie hasn't reach the American market yet, but my Library has the book by Henri Cueco. I am keeping an eye on all Daniel's movies... until Andrea decides to treat us with another CD...

I think this has been mentioned before, but "Proteggimi" is on the DVD "Credo", for those who have not heard it before.

Are we sidetracking " un po" ? :)

Molto da guardare no? :D
