first impression Concert Rotterdam Ahoy

Postby annacelli on Sat 11 Nov, 2006 12:56 am

After an introduction by the orchestra, Andrea came on stage. You could see his nerves were on the edge in the beginning.
Later on, Andrea relaxed: now and than he was moving a little and smiled very often.
From the start to the intermission Andrea sang classical repertoire, after the intermission he sang songs from Amore and "mama" too.
A wonderful concert, but too short in time. Andrea sounds great, as always.
He was shaved and according to me he has lost weight again. Being there, seeing him and hearing his beautiful voice "live"... I will dream on for a few more weeks.
I am looking forward to the concert in Antwerpen!

Dear Andrea, thank you for your wonderful performance in Rotterdam. I enjoyed the concert very much. It was a delight to see you. I also like the worldtour 2006 photobook. It is really beautiful.

I carefully removed the staple and framed the gray image which is attached with the word “Andrea”. It is in my living room above the sideboard and it looks fantastic!

Thank you very much!

'How is the greatest tenor in the world?' asked McCormack.
'When did you become a baritone?' replied Caruso.
