Preparations for the Andrea Bocelli concert to be held on Saturday, 16 December are now in full swing. Earlier last week the organisers, RPL Ltd together with Bocelli's conductor Maestro Carlo Bernini and managers have finalised the programme for the concert which is expected to include arias from Verdi and Puccini together with more recent interpretations such as Con te Partiro and We Believe.
Maestro Carlo Bernini will also be in Malta this coming week to discuss various music arrangements with the National Orchestra and Lydia Caruana in view of the concert.
Speaking about the concert preparations RPL Directors Dr. Anton Tabone and Mr Amabile Zammit said that "we are extremely proud to be working with Andrea Bocelli and his professional management team. The technical input from Bocelli's crew together with our commitment to provide the best facilities on the island augurs well for an excellent performance by one of the world's greatest singers."
Andrea Bocelli will be travelling to Malta from New York where he will be performing at the renowned Madison Square Gardens to an expected 25,000 audience. He will fly to Malta on a private jet on the day of the concert.
