surprise at the Marco Borsato concert

Afintje allowed me to share this darling report about the huge surprise which waited for her at the concert in Arnhem, Netherlands last week

I just got home, at 3 o'clock in the morning, and I am exhausted.
Today we went to Arnhem, where, in a footballstadium, our beloved Marco Borsato was
performing.
(Remember him? Singing 'Because we believe' with Bocelli????)

We were told TODAY they were taping the show, to put it on a DVD, wich, ofcourse, is
totally awesome, because in a few months time we will be able to 'relive' this
whole evening by watching it on DVD !!!!!!!!!!

The show was really awesome, Marco sang beautifully, the music was beautiful,
with a symphonic orchestra added to his own band, there was so much to see,
and he even sang a few songs in Italian, wich was great!

But........... by the time the show was about halfway over, Marco started talking.
He said: " In other parts of the world it is sayd about this man, that if God had a voice,
He would sing like this man."..........
And I felt like I would faint...........
As far as I know, there is only ONE man on the face of this earth, this is said about....
And we were totally unaware of him being invited to sing on the show....
except for some rumours, that were denied on the Borsato-website.

And Marco said: "Here he is, Andrea Bocelli !!!!!!!!!"
And I......... almost had a heartattack.................... LOL
Marco went away to fetch Andrea, and together they sang "Because we believe".
It was plain to see they had fun singing together, they like eachother a lot !
Honoustly, I cried throughout the whole song, and was shaking all over.
As far as I could see through my misty eyes, Andrea was his own beautiful, charming self,
singing as beautiful as ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And they sound awesome together !

I still can't wrap my brain around the fact that he was REALLY there, singing...
It was the ONLY time, in all of the 10 concerts Marco Borsato is doing this year,
that Bocelli came to sing...... and we were there........................ sigh........
And I must confess, I am totally blank as far as the concert is concerned, for
at least 20 or more minutes following after that...
Good thing that by Christmas time, the DVD will be in the shops, so I can see
what part I missed, being totally in the Bocelli-zone..........

Think I will remain in the Borsato-Bocelli-zone for a while, atleast until 10th of november,
when Andrea will be singing in Rotterdam, his only concert in Holland.
And there IS some talk, of Borsato joining Bocelli then on stage, for their joined "Believe" -song.
Who knows.........

What a night this has been.............. don't think I can sleep the rest of the night........ sigh.......

When God created Andrea Bocelli, He was just showing off !

But, I am here now, waiting anxiously for Andrea's appearance at the Latin Grammy Awards!
