after the concert in Lajatico

Postby Renate on Sat 29 Jul, 2006 2:09 pm

I've posted a first very rough version of the page for the overwhelming concert on July 27 in the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico at Bocelli.de.
There is no chance to share the entire experience just by these few pictures.
I am sure, some of those who attended brought better pics than I did, so if you like to share them or even write a concert report to post at Bocelli.de for those who haven't been among the 5000 lucky ones attending this very special concert just e-mail me at bocelli.de@t-online.de

Thankyou Renate! I am so glad I found this board...
'How is the greatest tenor in the world?' asked McCormack.
'When did you become a baritone?' replied Caruso.

I have a friend here in England who's Italian, and she gets Italian channels, and on the night of the concert she was looking to see if it would be broadcast but she couldn't find anything.... I was so sad because I thought we could have an opportunity to watch it on TV....but... alas.. ...nothing.. Does anyone knows where it was broadcasted? I really hope that a DVD will be made of the concert.

Oh, my goodness! What beautiful pictures!

A once-in-a-lifetime night, that's for sure! I am just awe-struck by the

beauty of the entire setting! How wonderful for ANDREA'S FAMILY AND

MANY FRIENDS WHO WERE THERE! And the FANS!!! It'll be a long time

before anyone attending 'comes down from the clouds'!! BRAVO TO ALL

INVOLVED, AND A HEARTFELT 'THANK YOU' TO ANDREA BOCELLI!

Grandma Jan (psst...Renate, you take the BEST PICTURES!)
