Beverly Sills Tribute set for Sept 16th

" Natalie Dessay, Anna Netrebko and Nathan Gunn will perform at a Sept. 16 tribute to Beverly Sills at the Metropolitan Opera House.

Met music director James Levine will play the piano, and speakers will include Placido Domingo, Henry Kissinger, Carol Burnett and Barbara Walters.

The event will be free to the public, with tickets distributed starting at noon on the day of the 5 p.m. performance. The tribute will be broadcast live by Sirius and streamed on RealNetworks. "
