Hello everyone, and thank you for the kind welcome! It is nice to be a part. I just joined a few days ago. I have been a Bocelli fan for many years. I have been so busy with kids, I have not had time to find this sight til now. :D

I live in the state of Arkansas. I was born in California, and moved here 10 years ago, when I got married. It is very hot here this past week. 105
degrees everyday! Sofia, I see you are a coach, what sports do you coach?

Belgium is a little rainy today.....we are used to this weather.....but apart from that everything is ok here, and yes ,by the way Belgium was the first country outside Italy that discovered Andrea Bocelli more then 10 years ago.
I know I keep repeating myself, but it's only because I am very proud about that fact.
After that he went to lots of other countries worldwide and now we all get the occasion to appreciate him!

Marti & Glory 94-
Last week was my birthday, and my husband bought for me the Italian language program, by "Rosetta Stone". My great grandfather was born in Naples, and his son , my grandpa lives in New Jersey. He speaks Italian, and my mother speaks a little. I have been wanting to learn to speak Italian for many years, but I am just now starting. I would appreciate any tips! Maybe soon, I will be able to send messages in Italian.

I would be proud of that too Sofia! Andrea is a jewel! His voice is so amazing to me. It makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck..
What I would give to see him in concert. Have you ever seen him live?

It is so nice to speak to people all over the world. I live in a very small town, but it is a clean safe place to raise children.
We have a peice of land, and our boys and my husband raise sheep , rabbits and beef. It's nice. What is Belgium like?

Yes Deana ,it must be great to live between animals,I am a city girl-from brussels-but I adore the country.
Belgium is only a small country ,with 3 different languages spoken, flemish, french and german.
I saw Bocelli 3 times in concert now.Once here in Belgium in a small venue at the beginning of his career, some years ago I traveled to Rotterdam for a concert in the Ahoy, and last year he came to Antwerp and gave a concert at the sportpaleis.
This last concert was great with a very happy and enthusiast public.
His voice was very strong ,he sang like a God.
From all the 3 concerts I have seen, this one was the best, without any doubt.
There is a big difference in hearing a singer on a cd or live in concert.
One cannot really explain how it feels because it's beyond description.

Marti-
I will be happy to help with English. Where did you learn english? Italian is so beautiful, if I could speak it, I would not speak anything else!
What does presto mean?

Sofia-
Wow, three Andrea concerts! I am so jealous. I can not imagine how amazing he sounds live. Maybe someday I will be able to see him too.

Do you speak Flemish, French & German?? As well as english..
what is the language your family speaks? What are some favorite Belgium foods? besides waffles =)

Hi Deana, I live in Arkansas, too. I'm in Little Rock. I moved here from South Carolina 15 years ago - but I've always lived in the city. I envy people who are able to live in the country. I hope one day I'll be able to buy some land and get a nice place away from all the congestion and noise.

Welcome to the forum. You'll love it here. The people are wonderful and we get to talk about our favorite singer and find out what's going on with him.
