Did none of you read the letter from Mrs Vivienne Smallcorn in that issue? it was nice letter, but there was just one thing that she got completely wrong! She said, 'unfortunately his disability prevents him from doing live operatic performances on stage'. Well i have written to Classic FM magazine and put them straight! I wonder if my letter will be published? I wait with bated breath! Tina xx

I noticed that Tina, but I was too overcome by the shirt to do anything about it! Hope they reply to you.

From what I understood mrs Smallcorn ment it well!Of course Andrea Bocelli DID play in operas on stage.
But .the media is more often interested in his popular recordings.so most of the people forget about his classical backgroung. It is really confusing!
However, this lady ment it really well, and most of her saying were so human and devoted!

Yes, I had noticed it, Tina, and if ClassicFM themselves had said it, I would have sent them an email, rectifying this misconception.

Poor Mrs. Smallcorn, she'll probably never write a letter again...

Oh yes Sofia, this lady meant to praise Andrea with all her heart and her letter was well meant. I do hope it does not put her off writing! It was just the reaction it caused in me! Spurting out my cup of tea and parading around the living room, magazine in hand telling anyone within earshot about how many operas Andrea has done!
