Thank you so much, Renate, for sending us such wonderful news. You're awesome! I'll be out of town, but taping these shows before I leave will make for a happy homecoming!

I am surely not speaking for any other Americans but I would trade every show coming up in these next two weeks for the documentary you ENGLISH  are getting in December. I sure hope we Americans get to see that eventually.

You can come to New York next week and see the documentary at the Ziegfield Theatre on November 1st:

http://lnx.andreabocelli.org/Gold/viewtopic.php?t=5873

or wait until December when PBS will have their December Pledge. Just check the programming schedule of your PBS station:

I'm going ( I think ) to his performance on 11/2 in New York on The Today Show. Does anyone know if this will be an indoor or outdoor performance?
If its outside I have an in!

Unless I am mistaken (which could be true I guess--there's a first time for everything ), the BBC documentary and the PBS concert (also showing in NYC next week) are two different programs entirely.

Maybe... Time will tell. In the meantime, let's just enjoy what it is happening today, now... :)

The theater project

Postby Carolina on Wed 24 Oct, 2007 6:43 pm

Yes, Janice is right. The BBC documentary is basically his autobiography, judging by all the information out there so far.
And the theater project will be the TdS filming that will eventually be on PBS. I'm sure it will be much better on the big screen, and with Andrea answering questions, but at least we'll all get to see it eventually. Now...if we can only find a connection for the BBC program!!

Our American friends shouldn't begrudge us this documentary. just think of all the Pbs stuff that wasn't available to us. I hope that fans everywhere will have access to the Documentary as soon as possible.

Guess I will be missing work since I can't tape the shows, but what's more important a job or watching my beautiful Andrea on TV? You tell me!

Now...I know that's just a rhetorical question. Andrea...of course! Do you get the BBC?? I sure don't. Unless I pay $10.00 a month. Maybe with enough notice I could order it for just that month, but then I'd have to pay an installation charge, too. GRRR!!

I don't know if it is the same in the US but TV listings can't be relied upon and programmes are very liable to being cancelled or shown at different times ,particularly one-off programmes of this nature. Would hate for any of you to go to a lot of expense and still miss it. I am sure it will be shown , we have it on very good authority, but the timing is likely to change at the last minute.

Its a sad state of affairs when a comedian can't think of anything funny without hired help. Leno stinks anyway...

I was wondering why chat show hosts needed scritpwriters ?

Are their guests so boring they don't know what to talk about ?
