Thank you Westsiderny for the additional information.
I don't have a confirmation for the Canale 5 yet, but I hope very much that it will happen. So please keep an eye on all these possibilities.

In any case Andrea will be live at the show and I hope that some will forget her sorrows and reaöize that Andrea is just fine, even when he doesn't show for a while.

[glow=red]Andrea will sing "Il Mare Calmo della Sera"!!!!![/glow]

Articolo completo...

Caroline, is it not awesome? For the last few days I've been 'advertising' "Il Mare Calmo della Sera" and we are going to listen the song LIVE! And after so many years! The other song is Claudio Baglioni's and it is also very nice. It is one of Laura Pausini's repertoire. I understand that Claudio and Andrea will sing both songs together... I love that song... What a treat! =P~

Who? Andrea? Did he sing Il Mare Calmo della Sera then? I don't remember... (nothing unusual about that, trust me). Unless you are talking about Claudio Baglioni... I'm lost here... :?

Here is the video of "Il Mare Calmo della Sera" at the Sanremo Festival. Mr. Ballanti posted it.

Yes Motoko, not only saw the video here but I also have the recording I made of the program, but I can't remember everything I see or do longer than yesterday... unless it is something that really had an impact on my life, in which case it is 'filed' somewhere in my mind. Even though, the search takes a little while and I won't blame it on my 'age', because I've been like this all my life, to the point that some people think that I like to remember only what's convenient for me, which is not true either... [-X

For very personal reasons, Il Mare Calmo della Sera song made an impact on my life the first time I listened to it many moons ago... but it is there, tucked away with my best and sweet memories. It came back to me after I returned from my recent trip to Venice. Any particular reason? I don't know... maybe my long walks along Riva degli Schiavioni... :-k :)

Thank you westsider for letting all of us 'electronically challenged' people get ready for tomorrow. If I read correctly, daylight savings time begins tomorrow in Italy. Therefore if I am in the central time zone the concert should start at 2 pm is that correct? Thanks for your help and I will keep tuned

I tuned into Radio Italia and I am having a ball! As it is supposed to be, only Italian music is transmitted and you can request the songs you would like to be played. I've already ask for some. Just go to:

http://www.radioitalia.it/

then, on the upper left corner click on ascoltaradioItalia

Sound like if they are transmitting directly from the Forum because in the background you can hear the artists rehearsing. It is really coooooooool !!!!!

Happy listening!

I thought this was not scheduled to start until 9pm, so missed it. :(

Thanks for all the links Nellie, will certainly get it taped when it is shown on tv.
I found the link to Il Mare Calmo on Bo.de ....here it is, scroll down,

http://www.bocelli.de/en/live/tv/2006/tv2006_2.htm

but I noticed that but Motoko has already posted it. As with all Bocelli things - better twice than not at all !!

You forgot that they changed the time in Italy today (or yesterday for them).

...will certainly get it taped when it is shown on tv.

How can you tape the show from the website (PC) :?:

Nellie, time was changed here too, I just forget they are an hour later in Italy and I only came back from Holland very early this morning and just got confused ! Holland is the same time as Italy.

Is it not being shown on Italian TV ? I thought it says Video Italia ?
If so, my brother can tape it, as he gets all the Italian channels. In fact he gets just about every channel in the world !

Caroline, you know better than I regarding Italian TV channels. I thought it was the Video Italia mentioned here:

http://www.radioitalia.it/streaming/index.php

If there is a "Video Italia" TV channel, which I think is provided by SKY, then your brother can tape the program and that's fantastic!

Whoever doesn't have access to that TV channel will be able to see the first and second part of the concert online on Radio Italia TV. I think we all are covered! :)

I am confused now Nellie and too tired to do anything about it

I shall have a fresh look tomorrow, :study: but surely they will broadcast it on some tv station ? Be too good not to , lots of big names.
