I cannot believe this is real. It's so silly. It said Andrea last logged in today at such and such an hour. I know he must have something else to do besides this teenage stuff. And why does he even need a MySpace page? He has his website.

I still can't believe this is authentic. He has a website why does he need this silly thing. He last logged in 7/17/07? Can you believe that - as if he has nothing beter to do? And "status - in a relationship" Why would any normal person feel the need to announce this to the world. Come on! How can you buy this as real - it's so stupid!

I think the webmaster has some problems with the kinds of pictures that are on his own website - women adverstising themselves - very offensive taste and very poor judgement.. Andrea should DISASSOCIATE himself from all this stuff, IMHO. This should never have been introduced into this site.

I am saying that what appears on the webmaster - here - ballanti's own site is not very nice. All of this should not be connected with Andrea which a link on Andrea's website does. It is very cheapening. Why do people want to advertise themselves and invite strangers into their lives? If somebody is doing this for Andrea - which I think must be the case - they should stop and get these links off the official site. I have not been to ballanti's site for a while so maybe these offensive things are gone but what I saw was not classy but cheap, picturing women as if selling something.

I agree with you, Maris. Whoever has created this webpage for Andrea should seriously re-consider. It is the wrong place for someone of Andrea's standing and integrity.

I didn't click on each and every one of the "friends" on Ballanti's myspace site, but all the ones I checked are singers and most of the pictures are from their CD covers or publicity shots. If you find them objectionable that is your right, just as it is Ballanti's right to have them on his site. Please allow for the differences in what is regarded as acceptable in various cultures. If you don't like it, you don't have to go there.

I think Annalisa has a point about the cultural differences. Max is probably very puzzled about your reaction.

Obviously there are cultural differences and yes, we don't have to look, but people do, and often the wrong people.
I have read some bad press about Myspace, and not just in one paper. How it is used for pornographic purposes and to lure in young girls, and I don't think it is something Andrea should be associated with.

I was thinking more of what is considered pornographic in different countries than about Myspace itself.
Unfortunately any internet website is potentially harmful and it is a good thing to warn everyone ,especially the very young to be careful.

I agree with you, kay, expecially for the young people, for an example like me. Internet is fantastic if we use it in right ways, but in the same time is a danger.

I guess we can have a discussion about the pros and cons of Myspace but I'm talking about the porn on Max's site that is linked to here. i think this is unfortunate, makes me think twice about who Max really is and why he is doing this to Andrea. if he is puzzled, someone should clue him in as to how degrading it is to women. May he is just not bright. Isn't Veronica supposed to be bright? Why doesn't she do something about it?

Just another thought - if you can't or shouldn't describe what Max is showing on his site here because it is too vulgar and embarrassing, why should it be linked to here. If I actually said what was there, I would be considered inappropriate so why should there be a link to it.

Sometimes people get lucky enough to get stuck to a celebrity's coat tails
and take advantage. Perhaps that is the case. I prefer to think it is just ignorance but how can ignorance continue since we have been talking so much about it. Just get the link off Andrea's site. Hpow simple is that!
