Vivere DELUXE version

Postby Ballanti on Mon 17 Sep, 2007 10:11 am

Questi i brani
LA DONNA E' MOBILE - Rigoletto
(Giuseppe Verdi)

DI QUELLA PIRA - IL TROVATORE
(Giuseppe Verdi)

BRINDISI - Cavalleria Rusticana
(Mascagni)

O SOAVE FANCIULLA (duet with Ana Maria Martinez ) LA BOHEME
(Giacomo Puccini)

SANTA LUCIA LUNTANA
(E.A. Mario)

TORNA A SURRIENTO
(Ernesto De Cutis- Giovan Battista De Curtis)

O SOLE MIO
(Edoardo Di Capua/Alfredo Mazzocchi - Giovanni Capurro)

BRINDISI - LA TRAVIATA
(Giuseppe Verdi)

Ballanti's link above is to Amazon.com... I've pre-ordered mine from Play.com.
'How is the greatest tenor in the world?' asked McCormack.
'When did you become a baritone?' replied Caruso.

Can anybody think of something I can order from Amazon that costs 2 cents so I can get free shipping? I hate it when they do this. Give you free shipping on the purchase of $25.00 or more, then make sure they charge $24.98. GRRRR!!

Carolina, I had ordered "Vivere" a few weeks ago, along with Chris Botti's new CD and had free shipping. When I heard about "Vivere Deluxe", I canceled my original "Vivere" and ordered the Vivere Deluxe. Then I tried to combine this with the Chris Botti order to get free shipping, they wouldn't let me! So it was going to cost USD 2.98 FOR EACH ORDER! That made me angry so I canceled everything! I'm going to march down to Best Buy the day they are each released and buy them in person. It's less than 2 miles so gas isn't even a consideration! It ticked me off from the start because when I ordered the original "Vivere" they never had the combination one on their website or I would have gotten that one to begin with! OK, I just had to let off steam :) I feel better now (I think)!!

Cheers'

I do think this is a great oportunity for many of us in the site to get a small

anology that great contribuition that Andrea made through those times

of classic music and the beautiful pop songs so well chosen !

From this current Cd there is a song that I allways loved is La Madona E'Mobile.

Thank you Ballanti for the post

But first of all to Andrea that allways gave to us his best !

I don't think there is anything that will cost $0.02 these days, but I would like to suggest the new Chris Botti's "Italia" CD where Andrea sings in duet with him. Read the product description and tell me if this CD is not worth the expense of more than 2 cents. And there is also a DVD bonus! Here is the link to the Amazon page:

Michelle I couldn't find the deluxe version from Play.com. I cancelled my order of the one cd from Play.com and have ordered the deluxe 2 cds from Amazon.com. I get myself tied up in knots trying to keep up with what's happening when it comes to new releases of Andrea's

Yup, Play.com have two listed - with very little detail of either! The cover of one is the same as the cover of the Deluxe version on Amazon...

Scissors? I reckon I might need a JCB...

Carolina I think I will need those scissors very soon but maybe Michelle's JCB would be more effective! :x Why does buying Vivere has to be so confusing for us fans or is it just me

I just tried to place an order in Amazon.com for both - "Vivere" Deluxe and "Italia" and when I went to the Check-Out page I was told that I qualified for the Free Shipping and asked me for the Address (I had several) where to send the items and then, the payment instructions. I just saved the order to be completed later.

Maybe they changed their minds. I bet there are many Bocelli fans that want to have both, unless they don't want to wait until October to receive "Italia"... Remember, both CDs have to be shipped together.

Thanks, Westsiderny, I went back and orderd the "Vivere" Deluxe and the "Italia" combo and got the "Free" Super Saver Shipping which is only costing $3.97 or something like that but delays the delivery until Mid-November!!! I may have to rethink this. I'm not sure saving a few dollars is worth a big delay. However, I'm tired of playing around with this so I might just leave it be.

I think I'll wait too - I'm always a bit wary about ordering dvds from the USA in case I can't play them here. Let me know how you get on Karen.

Sorry to be a bit of a wet blanket, and something is better than nothing, but when, oh when, is Andrea going to record a NEW opera album? I know he recently released two operas (CavPag) but they're full of other people and I just want to hear him! He must know from this site that we really want him to and we've got plenty of suggestions if he can't think what to record. There's a limit to the number of recordings of the same thing that anyone can buy - even us!
