I am trying to find a television interview in which Luciano Pavarotti talks

about Andrea Bocelli.

If anyone can remember this I would be very grateful for some help.

I didn't find a TV interview...

but, I did find this interview from AOL ... where Pavarotti answered questions on an AOL Sessions interview:

one of the questions asked by BrokerIBM was:
"Please name a young tenor that would likely follow in your footsteps."

Pav's answer did not name Bocelli by name. He only said that whoever followed the careers like the ones he, Domingo, and Carreras had ... would be by someone who is very demanding of himself. ... never happy with what he is doing .. and when he does something good he is thinking how he can do it better.

... sure sounds like Bocelli to me ...

Dove possiamo rivedere il video che abbiamo visto qualche settimana fa quando Andrea era a Ischia? Pavarotti parlava del suo prossimo disco e diceva : "Andrea ho bisogno dei tuoi consigli", o qualcosa simile.

Sentire di nuovo il dialogo tra loro sarebbe un ricordo molto commovente.
