I just listened to both performances, and I only wish we had talents of this caliber on our American Idols. Just lovely, both numbers! I only hope that someone has pointed him out to Andrea, so he can also give a listen and hear his story! I'm totally impressed!

Usualy we don't have that good singers on the idol contest either.
That is why lots of people are really surprised and happy .
So far,he's an exeption in this idol thing and I hope that he can be able to build out a professional career,thanks to his live tv-performances!

His performance was perfect and he only got great comments.

I have just been listening to his interviews, what a nice young man he is, and his Dutch is very good.
I hope he goes on to win, he deserves it.

It also seems to me that Andrei is a very modest and nice man.
I recognice some of the Bocelli integrety in him.
Also I understand that the belgian public loves him very much because he is different from the others in this contest,he seems more self-critical and is not full of his own talent.
Besides .he always speaks in magnificant words about the great Bocelli,so this deserves our estimes.
And there is only 1 letter of difference between Andrei and Andrea.....it should be a good sign!

Yes, he does sound modest and not full of himself. He very much appreciates the chance he has been given and the nice thing is, he can sing ! I liked his Beatles song too.

I think the same as you do.....I truly don't like these kind of idol contests,but this time we follow so far and ,yes,even sending sms's ,although I am against this system.
But ,sometimes in life ,we have to do just what we think is right at that moment.
And in this case it means to support a forum fan,with a good voice.
Ik hoop dat het hem kan helpen voor zijn komende carriere want hij is simpelweg beter dan de andere teen-agers!

I am not a great fan of these shows either, but it seems to be a worldwide thing now and all credit to the Belgian organisers for having someone like him on there, rather than the usual people who are all big smiles, big ego's but little talent !
The fact that he came on here first to thank Andrea shows him to be a nice person and I am very happy to support him.

Once more good news on Andrei.
He's in for the coming week without any problems.
This time he was very worried because the theme was ,singing a dutch song.
And he thought that his dutch was not good enough,but he sang the language very well,with a nice little russian accent.
The difference between dutch and russian is very big.so the jury said that he deserves a special price.
He choose a song from Marco Borsato----Dromen zijn bedrog-----
It was very different from his other performances.but he did a good job.
Andrei heeft zeker talent als popzanger ook!

This guy is really devoted to what he does.

eg: He is in a ping-pong club.
He was even selected for the national championship, but chose for Idol.

The song that has be chosen for him is Miserere and I can't wait to hear him sing the pop- as well as the tenor voice.
