Dear Andrea,
I am writing this note to you on behalf of one of your dear friends, Em. She asked me if I could do so, as you are a most important person in her life, in more bella-bella-bella ways than you might ever imagine.
Em has been quite ill and has been in the hospital for the last two weeks (shy of one day). I had the great fortune of locating which hospital she was in, several hours ago, and I believe much of that fortune had to do with all of the overflowing positive energy that your fans sent to Em yesterday, after I let them know of her illness and hospital stay.
She had many a wonderful story to share about the people in the hospital, but her favoritre story of all was how when she brought your name up to multiple people in the hospital, most all of those same multiple people knew of your music - and nothing, absolutely nothing, delights Em more than when she brings your name up (as she does wherever she goes) and people break out into an instant smile and tell her that they too are the greatest fans of yours. I am thinking of all the things that please Em, and yes, I think the above indeed is what sprouts angel wings on her back and allows her to fly about for the minutes while speaking of you with them. My husband had a special evening with Em 1 1/2 years ago and yes, he witnessed her miraculous ability to indeed fly when speaking of you...eheh!
Anyone who knows Em can tell you that Em could write a book on what your music means to her, and what you mean to her as a human being. Everything from your voice, to the thoughts in your mind that you share with fellow human beings, to your very charming smile which melts her to the core..... well Andrea, M adores you, she respects you, and in every day of her life, she wishes nothing but the best for you, your sons, Veronica, and your mother and brother. Em is a human being that represents love and if your only fan in the world happened to be Em, you would have enough love bestowed upon you to last you three lifetimes. Veramente! eheh! Sorrisio!
You make her days happy, Andrea. Your music makes her feel as though she could pick up the world with one hand. You give her power and strength and the desire to choose to see life as a miraculous adventure every single waking minute of hers.
She is proud to live in the same time period as you and honored to have had this prized gift of witnessing your presence, your talents, and your ever growing successes. Simply put, she is honored to know of your existance and be a part of it, in the ways that she is able to.
I am not sure what Em wanted me to say to you, but the things that I have said are her truths. We have an expression here that we say to someone that we have much love and affection for... "You make life worth living"..... and this expression comes to mind when I think of Em's endearing thoughts of you. You, Andrea, make Em's life worth living - and her world is all the happier because you are in it.
Thank you immensley for the deep and true joys that you give to my friend, whom I love so very much.
May your heart be always filled with warmth, knowing how many people's lives you touch in so many important ways. Thank you for all that you share of yourself with the people of our world.
God Bless
.... oh - and p.s.... my personal favorite story of Em's during this hospital visit. While talking of you to someone in the hospital (one of the few people who did not know of you yet), they asked Em what you looked like. Em immediately pulled out a photo of you (eheh!) and showed it to them. Their response with a grandioso smile?
"Ohhhhhh, he was here last night!!!!!"
hahahahaa! Oh Andrea.... you have to love that, right? LOL!
Troppo dolce!
ciao ciao caro.... Buon anno e abbraccio forte
