Cari amici, eccomi finalmente a casa dopo aver fatto di nuovo il giro del mondo; un giro che mi ha portano dalla lontana Australia, con le sue belle città di mare e la sua gente così piena di entusiasmo per la musica e per il canto, alla bella Nuova Zelanda, che pare un mondo a sé, un mondo incantato, dove su tutto, trionfa la natura; e poi, come per miracolo, catapultato nell'universo cinese, nel quale un'anima sensibile non può che arricchirsi di preziose e singolari sensazioni. Non potrò dimenticare mai quei bambini scalzi e mal vestiti, che mi sfrecciavano da tutti i lati, per poi scomparire in qualche poverissimo luogo, pieni di vita ed incredibilmente gonfi di gioia, come ad ammonire noi, poveri, ricchi occidentali, che la vita non avrebbe potuto riservar loro, se non qualcosa di meglio, mentre noi, il meglio lo avevamo già tutto quanto ricevuto e maldestramente speso. Poi, come sapete sono tornato in America, lasciatemi dire, nella mia America, visto l'affetto che quel popolo mi rivolge da diversi anni, e la familiarità che passo dopo passo ho acquistato con i luoghi, con la lingua e le abitudini di questo paese. In fine, ho girato un po' l'Europa, sono ritornato in Francia e in Germania, anche per non essere dimenticato a causa di una troppo lunga assenza ed è stato sicuramente bello incontrare, dopo tanto tempo, amici e collaboratori, cari al mio cuore. Ora, sono finalmente a casa, per dedicare un po' di tempo ai miei bambini ed alla mia famiglia, perché la povera Veronica possa fare, anche lei un po' di vacanza, in vista dei prossimi impegni, tanto prossimi nel tempo, quanto lontani dalla mia bella Toscana, da dove ora idealmente vi abbraccio e vi ricordo con affetto e gratitudine. Colgo l’occasione per ringraziare pubblicamente e sentitamente lo staff che lavora al fine di realizzare , modificare e soprattutto aggiornare il sito ufficiale che proprio in questi giorni festeggia il primo anno di attività e non esagero nel definirla grandiosa. Nel ringraziare in particolare Ballanti Massimiliano , al Dott. Principi , al Dott. Berti Ivano ,la Sig. Renate Bauschelli fan e amica affezionata nonché responsabile del sito Bocelli.de ,esprimo loro un augurio di una proficua continuazione dell’attività così ben avviata, grazie ancora. here I am at home finally after having made the latest world tour; a tour that took me to far away Australia, with its beautiful cities by the sea and its people so full of enthusiasm for music and singing, to beautiful New Zealand, which is like a world unto itself, an enchanted world, where more than anything, nature triumphs; and then, like a miracle, I was thrust into the universe of China, where a sensitive soul cannot help but be enriched with precious and unique feelings.
I will never be able to forget those barefoot and poorly dressed children who ran past me on all sides only to vanish into some very poor place, incredibly full of life and joy, as if admonishing us that we rich people from the Western world - who already have everything and waste it - that a good life, even a better one, is not reserved only for us.
Then, as you know, I returned to America, allow me to say, "to my America," because of the affection that the people have given me for many years, and the familiarity which is acquired step by step with the places, the language and the customs of this country.
In the end, I toured a bit in Europe, I returned to France and Germany, also not to be forgotten because of an absence that was too long, and it was certainly wonderful to meet, after so much time, friends and collaborators dear to my heart.
Now I’m finally at home, to dedicate some time to my children and my family, so poor Veronica will be able to take a little bit of vacation for herself, in view of the upcoming commitments, so near in the future, but so far from my beautiful Tuscany, from where now in my mind I embrace you and remember you with affection and gratitude.
I take this occasion to publicly and sincerely thank the staff that has worked in order to realize, to modify and above all to update the official site that just today celebrates its first year of activity, and I don’t exaggerate in calling it magnificent. I especially want to thank Massimiliano Ballanti, Dr. Principi, Dr. Ivano Berti, and Mrs. Renate Bauschelli, a fan and dear friend as well as the person responsible for the Bocelli.de site; I hope for a successful continuation of the activity which has started so well. In conclusion, I want to wish everyone a Christmas of serenity and love, a year of peace and prosperity, a year at the end of which we will be able to say that we have made the world a better place than we found it, knowing that everyone’s contribution begins with what each one of us is able to do and know, and that sometimes, those two things are the same.

Me voici enfin chez moi après avoir fait à nouveau le tour du monde ; une tournée qui m'a porté de la lointaine Australie, avec ses belles villes au bord de la mer et ses gens si pleins d'enthousiasme pour la musique et pour le chant, à la belle Nouvelle-Zélande, qui semble un monde à part, un monde enchanté, où la nature triomphe sur tout ; et ensuite, comme par miracle, catapulté dans l'univers chinois, dans lequel une âme sensible ne peut que s'enrichir de précieuses et singulières sensations. Je ne pourrai jamais oublier ces enfants pieds nus et mal vêtus, qui me filaient de tous côtés, pour ensuite disparaître dans quelqu' endroit très pauvre, pleins de vie et incroyablement gonflés de joie, comme pour nous avertir nous, pauvres et riches occidentaux, que la vie n'aurait pu leur réserver quelque chose de mieux, tandis que nous, le mieux nous l'avions déjà en tout ce que nous avons reçu et maladroitement dépensé. Puis, comme vous le savez, je suis retourné en Amérique, laissez-moi dire, dans mon Amérique, étant donné l'affection que ce peuple me porte depuis plusieurs années, et la familiarité que pas à pas j'ai acquise avec les lieux, avec la langue et les habitudes de ce pays. Enfin, j'ai visité un peu l'Europe, je suis retourné en France et en Allemagne, pour ne pas être oublié après une trop longue absence et cela a été vraiment bien de rencontrer, après tant de temps, des amis et collaborateurs, chers à mon coeur. Maintenant je suis enfin chez moi, pour consacrer un peu de temps à mes enfants et à la famille, pour que la pauvre Veronica puisse avoir, elle aussi un peu de vacances, en vue des prochains engagements, si proches dans le temps, si loins de ma belle Toscane, d'où maintenant dans des conditions idéales je vous embrasse et me souviens de vous avec affection et gratitude. Je saisis l'occasion pour remercier publiquement et vivement le staff qui travaille afin de réaliser, modifier et surtout mettre à jour le site officiel qui fête en ce moment la première année de son activité et je n'exagère pas en la définissant grandiose. Remerciements en particulier à Ballanti Massimiliano, au docteur Principi, au docteur Berti Ivano, à Renate Bauschelli fan et amie affectionnée mais aussi responsable du site Bocelli.de, je leur exprime le souhait d'une fructueuse continuation de l'activité si bien commencée, merci encore. Liebe Freunde, nun bin ich endlich wieder zu Hause nach einer neuerlichen Tour um die Welt; eine Reise, die mich vom fernen Australien mit seinen schönen Städten am Meer und dem Volk, das voll Enthusiasmus für Musik und Gesang ist, nach dem schönen Neuseeland gebracht hat, das eine Welt für sich zu sein scheint, eine bezaubernde Welt, wo vor allem die Natur vorherrscht. Und dann, wie durch ein Wunder, befand ich mich im chinesischen Reich, wo eine sensible Seele durch wertvolle und einmalige Eindrücke nur bereichert werden kann. Ich werde nie diese barfüßigen und schlecht bekleideten Kinder vergessen können, die an mir von allen Seiten vorbeisausten, um dann in irgendeinem ärmlichen Loch zu verschwinden, so voll von Leben und unglaublicher Freude – als wollten sie uns arme, reiche Bewohner der westlichen Welt ermahnen, dass das Leben vielleicht für sie etwas Besseres reserviert hat, während wir schon das Beste von allem bekommen und ungenügend genutzt haben.Dann bin ich, wie ihr wisst, nach Amerika zurückgekehrt, lasst mich sagen in mein Amerika, gemessen an der Liebe, die mir dieses Volk seit Jahren entgegenbringt und der Vertrautheit mit den Städten, mit der Sprache und den Gewohnheiten des Landes, die ich Schritt für gewonnen habe. Schließlich bin ich noch ein wenig durch Europa gereist, bin wieder nach Frankreich und Deutschland gekommen, auch um wegen meiner langen Abwesenheit nicht vergessen zu werden und es war wirklich schön, liebe Freunde und Mitarbeiter nach so langer Zeit zu treffen. Jetzt bin ich endlich zu Hause, um ein wenig Zeit meinen Kindern und meiner Familie zu widmen, damit auch die arme Veronica ein bisschen Urlaub machen kann bevor die nächsten Verpflichtungen auf uns zukommen, viel zu nah, zeitlich gesehen, und viel zu weit entfernt von meiner schönen Toscana, von wo ich euch jetzt ideell umarme und mit Zuneigung und Dankbarkeit an euch denke.
