Dearest Andrea, your Christmas CD and DVD are just so beautiful but your message to all your fans has gone straight to my heart. You are certainly one in a million to remember your fans this way especially after such a busy schedule this year. I was lucky enough to see you at the rescheduled concert in Birmingham, UK in November which was amazing but my highlight this year was Venice. Watching your rehearsal on the Piazza San Marco, I felt so close to you. Being able to see Veronica working so hard, checking that all was well for your forthcoming evening performance reassured me that someone special was looking after you and loving you. The tears were running down my cheeks as you left the stage and then I found myself stepping out of the crowd, calling Veronica as she led you to the hotel and you stopped! I could not believe it, I was holding your hand and speaking to you, telling you how beautiful your voice was and how I had been a big fan for ten years, totally shaking and crying. You smiled that beautiful smile, gave me a hug and thanked me. The photos my husband took will be treasured forever and I will treasure that memory for the rest of my life.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful Christmas message. I feel quite humbled by your humility - you make me realise that my worries and concerns are really quite petty compared to the troubles that some people undergo every day of their lives. Although I'm not what you would call an "active" Christian, in that I don't go to church etc., I do try to live my life like a Christian, and I still believe in the ethos of Christianity. The Lord's Prayer was an integral part of my upbringing and will always have a very special place in my soul, and the way that you sing it has made me realise how important it is to me.

Thanks a lot for your very lovely Christmas message Andrea. "My Christmas" is probably the best Christmas gift I could have received this Christmas. I remember I was still a youngster when Mario Lanza came up with "The Lord's Prayer" also on a Christmas album. He recorded it in 1951. Mario Lanza was the only other tenor I absolutely adored in my life. But then of course things changed when you made your appearance Andrea. Through all those years I would play the CD of Mario's "The Lord's Prayer" every morning during my quiet time. I spend 30 minutes praying and meditating every morning and would always end off the session by listening to "The Lord's Prayer". And I have always wondered, and I think I brought this up with Renate once, what it would be like if Andrea Bocelli sings "The Lord's Prayer" for us. My wife June bought "My Christmas" as a gift for me. And When I noticed that "The Lord's Prayer" was one of the tracks I became very excited. So much so that I skipped all the other tracks and listened to "The Prayer" first. It was so beautiful that tears came rolling from my eyes. I really think that God arranged it so that you do "The Lord's Prayer" especially for me. Well...I do not have to tell you which version of "The Lord's Prayer" I now am listening to in the mornings. And I do it every morning without fail.
I have all of your CD's and all of your DVD's. I never miss any of them.
So...what I would like to say is "Yes...surely YOU GAVE ME A VERY, VERY SPECIAL GIFT. Thanks very much for doing doing "The Lord's Prayer" for me. My dream is to see you in person one day.

I love the variety of tracks on 'My Christmas'. Both CD and DVD are already packed ready for my trip to the family for Christmas. Adeste Fideles and Silent Night have always been favourites but I was blown away with 'The Lords Prayer' and 'What Child Is This' which I wasn't familiar with, just sends shivers down my spine. You never disappoint in touching my heart and soul with your beautiful voice.

This summer I travelled to TDS for an unforgettable time at both the rehearsal and concert. A few days later I returned to see more of Lajatico and had the honour of meeting both your Mother Edi and Cinzia in Cantina Bocelli. My journey to the tranquility and beauty of Toscana was a truly memorable experience that I will treasure forever.
