Care amiche e cari amici, spero vogliate perdonare il ritardo con cui rispondo ai vostri simpaticissimi messaggi. Non è solo la mia proverbiale pigrizia a causarlo, ma piuttosto i mille impegni di lavoro, e non solo, che rendono questa vita simile ad una fuga senza pause. Però mi fa bene sapere che ci siete e sentirvi; ascoltare le vostre voci, i vostri incoraggiamenti, i vostri attestati di stima, il vostro affetto. Soprattutto mi rende felice, costatare il vostro desiderio di cercare l'uomo, che sta dietro al cantante, scoprirne gli intenti, le passioni e magari le difficoltà. In questi giorni sto seriamente lavorando sull'uscita del nuovo album. Devo trovare la forza di farlo conoscere a un pubblico, che sia il più vasto possibile, perché i brani, che vi sono contenuti sono davvero di rara bellezza. Attraverso queste straordinarie melodie ho imparato a conoscere e ad amare, tutte le più grandi voci, che siano mai giunte fino a noi. D'altra parte, sono tutti brani scritti, pensati per la bellezza della voce umana: per l'incanto del canto. Trasmettono, tutti quanti, una straordinaria energia; e tra questi, molti parlano di d'amore, di sole, di mare, di luoghi che ti fanno sognare e battere il cuore. Sono ansioso di conoscere le vostre impressioni: se condividerete con me, le sensazioni che questa musica ha sempre saputo trasmettermi, allora il mio lavoro non sarà stato tempo e fatica sprecati.¬ Per ora vi ringrazio di cuore e vi saluto con un abbraccio affettuoso. I truly hope you will forgive my late reply to your beautiful messages. It was not my proverbial laziness to cause such a delay but rather the number of engagements that makes my life so hectic. Knowing you are so close to me , listen to your voices, your encouragements, receive your proves of esteem and your love make me feel better. Above all, I am so happy to realize your desire to search for the man behind the singer, find out his intents, his passions and even his difficulties.
In these days I am working hard on the release of my new album “ Incanto “.
I am putting all my efforts in trying to make the songs contained in it known to the widest audience, because they are of a rare beauty. It was with these extraordinaire melodies that I grew up and I came to know all the greatest voices of the past. After all, these songs have been written and conceived for the beauty of the human voice : for the enchantment of the chant. They all transmit an extraordinary energy. Most of them talk about love, the sun, the sea, the places that make you dream and make your heart beat.
I am keen to know what you think: if you share the emotions that this music has always made me feel then my work will not have been in vain. En ce moment je travaille sérieusement sur la sortie du nouvel album. Je dois trouver la force de le faire connaître à un public qui soit le plus vaste possible, parce que les morceaux qu’il contient sont vraiment d’une rare beauté. A travers ces extraordinaires mélodies j’ai appris à connaître et à aimer toutes les plus grandes voix qui soient jamais parvenues jusqu’à nous.
